Silk you can live in.

SuuSilk starts in Suzhou, where silk has been made for three thousand years. The mills, the dyers, the hands that know when a weave is right — they are all still there. That is where every piece is made.

We are a New York brand, and that shows in what we choose to make: the colours, cuts and prints you’d actually reach for. A pyjama set you’d answer the door in. A robe you’d be seen in. Pillowcases and scarves that look like they belong in your home rather than in a souvenir shop.

That pairing is the whole idea. Without the craft, you get a good-looking piece that pills after three washes. Without the eye, you get beautiful fabric in a shape nobody wants to wear.

Everything is 100% mulberry silk, reactive-dyed so the colour holds, and cut to US sizing. Many pieces are machine washable — because silk you’re afraid to wash isn’t silk you’ll use.
